Precaution when upgrading firmware:
- Phone must be connected to stable internet connection.
- Phone and watch are within the Bluetooth range - the closer the better.
- Phone is ONLY paired with ONE KoreTrak watch. Turn off any paired Bluetooth devices such as earbuds, speakers and any other Bluetooth wireless device.
- Phone and watch are at least 50% charged, you will not be able to update the firmware with less than 50% charge.
- Both devices can be charging during the entire firmware update.
- During the upgrade process, refrain from moving from one location to another causing potential Bluetooth interruption and internet data transmission.
- Refrain from making phone calls or messaging during update process as those programs can interrupt connection.
Hardware Requirement:

WiFi and Bluetooth enabled smartphone (with installed iOS with DayBand App 1.0.15 or Android with DayBand App 1.3.2).
Preparing for the Firmware Update:

Your smart phone should be at least 50% or charged. Low battery will affect connection speed, transfer speed and could cause accidental power off during the update process.

Your KoreTrak fitness watch should be at least 50% charged. Low battery could cause accidental power off during the update process.

Make sure your smartphone has stable internet connection via 5g/4g LTE or via WiFi connection.

On the Bluetooth connection, only connect to the Kore Track fitness watch. Disconnect all other Bluetooth connection(s).

Make sure you downloaded and paired the KoreTrak fitness watch with the latest DayBand App version (iOS or Android).

To minimize chance of connection loss, it is best to perform the entire firmware update in a stationary setting. Moving from location to location might affect WiFi/internet reception as well as Bluetooth connection.

To minimize the chance of connection loss, do not use the smartphone (like taking a call) while the update is in progress.
Updating the Firmware:

Connect your KoreTrak fitness watch to your mobile phone via Bluetooth, make sure there are no other devices connected to your smartphone.

Open the DayBand App.

Follow the step-by-step instruction for iOS and Android:
For Android OS
Before starting, please upgrade DayBand APP to the latest version 1.3.2.
Step 1: Enter “DayBand” APP via your Android smart phone.
Step 2: Press the “Device” option on the bottom right.
Step 3: Press “Add a new device” and wait for around 10 seconds.
Step 4: Find your device’s name and press it to connect.


Step 7: Please make sure your device meets all these requirements before you press the “Confirm” button.
Warning: DO NOT DISCONNECT the watch or QUIT the APP during the upgrade process.
For iOS
Before starting, please upgrade the DayBand App to the latest version, 1.0.15.
Step 1: Enter the “DayBand” App via your iPhone.
Step 2: Press the “Device” option on the bottom right.
Step 3: Press “Add a new device” and wait for around 10 seconds.
Step 4: Find your device’s name and press it to connect.

Step 5: Press the setting button on the top right.
Step 6: Press the “Firmware upgrade” option to upgrade.

Step 7: Please make sure your device meets all these requirements before you press the “Yes” button.
